My 4 yr old Margaret left the fair smiling ear to ear…that is until she realized her favorite stuffed kitty, whom she takes everywhere and of course sleeps with, was missing. I figured it was in the bottom of my stroller or bag but when we arrived home we realized Andy the stuffed cat was missing. We tucked her in consoling her the best we could and chalked it up as a loss. I was shocked when the very next day a friend who recognized Margaret’s lovie, sent me the Haddam Neck Fair Facebook Page post. Someone found her beloved kitty and even better someone took the time to make the “found kitty” post. We drove over to the fairgrounds and quickly reunited the two. This time there were tears of joy. We are very grateful to everyone involved and we were shocked by the 650+ facebook shares that helped get Andy back to Margaret.
